Art, color, and a life well collected.

I’ve always been a painter.

I received my BFA from the University of California, Berkeley, but my path back to the studio wasn’t exactly a straight one. After graduation, I spent years working in corporate marketing and events before eventually leaving that world to paint full time.

Today, I work from my studio in the Santa Cruz Mountains, creating paintings that explore color, composition, and the familiar things that surround us. I want the work to feel personal — to spark a memory, a little humor, or simply that inexplicable sense of connection that makes you want to keep looking.

The Work

My paintings reimagine still life and figurative subjects through bold color, graphic composition, and expressive form. I’m drawn to confident shapes set within geometric and abstracted spaces, and to the balance between looseness and structure that happens when the two come together.

I work across everything from intimate works on paper to large-scale canvases, making pieces that feel at home in layered, character-filled interiors. During the 2020 lockdown, I began experimenting with recycled and unconventional surfaces — grocery bags, cardboard, maps, playing cards and other found materials. What started as a practical experiment became an important part of my practice and changed the way I think about surface, material, and the everyday objects we often overlook.

My work can be found in corporate collections including Lululemon and the Jelly Belly Candy Company, as well as in private collections across the country. I paint full time from my studio on our small mountain farm, where I live with my husband, Ben, and our dog, Wally.
